Our anniversary was this last Saturday on the 2nd, so we decided to take a trip to California! We spent 3 days and 3 nights in Long Beach. We got there Friday evening and there wasn't much day left to do so we went and had dinner at Red Lobster. It was so yummy! Then on Saturday, we drove down to San Bernadino where Zac served his mission. It was only 40 minutes from where we were staying so we spent the day down there and it was so fun! After all the mission stories he had told me when he got home it was nice to see where they all took place. I really liked being able to see the different areas he had lived and served for the two years.
San Bernadino...good thing for camera timers!
Here is a house in Colton (ghetto) with bars on the windows and doors....scary!
A really pretty church
Rosa Maria's. This is probably the main reason we came to San Bernadino. Zac swore this place has amazing burrito's so we had to come. And they were so good! It was the best burrito I think I've ever had.
We thought we saw Brant and Lindsay in the Niss!
Later Saturday night we went to Down Town Disney to see a show. We went and saw Hancock. When we got there we were the only one's in the theater! I think by the time started two other people showed up. But halfway through the movie the surround sound went out! So after the show a lady was passing out free gift certificates to see another show. So on Sunday we drove up to LA and hung out at the beach at Santa Monica Pier. Then we drove to West Hollywood and ate a the best Persian restaurant called ShamShiri. It was delicious! Then we went back to the hotel and hung around the pool until it was time to get ready for dinner and a movie! We went and ate at the Rainforest Cafe then saw Swing Vote with our free tickets. It was a good one too! We liked both of the movies we saw. Then on Monday we were headed back to Salt Lake! It was quite the adventure going standby but we made it home!
