What can I say...

I have been so neglectful of this poor blog. So much has been going on and of course our laptop isn't working so I can't update it! Life is so amazing right now. Brynley is so much fun! I can't believe how much she changes every week. She coo's and makes the sweetest noises all day long! She belly laughs now, her back is getting stronger getting ready to sit up, she holds her head up SO well, she sleeps for about 8.5 hours through the night, and she is just the cutest thing ever! I am back to work but really part time. It's nice to get out of the house and have some adult conversations. I only work about 8-12 hours a week which is so perfect! I'm glad my work is being flexible for me. The first time I left her was so hard for me, I cried even before I dropped her off at the babysitters. But once I got to work I was better :) After my 4 hour shift I am always so ready to go home to this sweet baby:
she loves her fingers

sleepy head
tummy time in her new gym
loves her swing
found her toes I can't believe how much this little cutie has changed our lives. Everything is so much more fun. I'm even excited for Halloween because we have such a cute costume for her! I am looking forward to the holidays now to see Brynley experience them. We went to a pumpkin patch the other day to get her her first pumpkin and I went crazy with pictures! That's another post to come once I get our pictures up, this is it for now!

All about Brynley

Well I just can't believe how BIG Brynley is getting. She is growing up too fast...slow down already! Her changes these past two weeks are: cooing, reaching, sleeping five hours in the night, smiling a TON, getting longer hair, staying up more during the day and grabbing my hair! As for her size, I couldn't wait for her 2 month appointment to see how much she weighs so I put her on our scale...haha! She is now 10 lbs and about 23 inches. She has gained just over 3 pounds and grown 2 inches. Her 2 month is in 2 weeks so I'll give a more accurate update then. I can't believe she is 7 weeks already! She is so much fun! The worst part is when she is gassy and has to go "number two" and she just can't do it. Causing her to be SO fussy and cries and cries. It just breaks my heart!!! She seems like she is in so much pain. Hopefully she grows out of that soon, I hear by 8 weeks their digestive system is done developing. Lets hope it gets better! Other than that everything is going great and we love having her here with us. I'm getting a little more sleep with her going 5 hours between feedings at night, but I can't wait til she goes all the way through the night! Well here are bunch of pictures of what Brynley has been up to...

She is always staring at windows

So sweet!

Smiling and being happy...

...Not so happy

Sticks her tongue out and gives us thumbs up

Loves to put her hands in her mouth and stretch her back

Likes to hang out on her tummy

Loves to sleep

Gives a great scowl

Has gone to two bee's games

Is a dolphins fan like dad :)

And my favorite, she hangs out with mommy all day!

Bath time

Well I've been a slacker with my blog every since Brynley was born so here is a short update. Brynley is now one month old. I can't believe how fast the time has gone! She is getting SO big and chubby! At her 2 week apt she had gained a pound. She was 8lbs 2oz. Her weight was in the 73%, and her length in the 92%. I'm not sure what she is now...stay tuned for that info. She has been so much fun and we even celebrated our 2nd anniversary with her (another post to come) Anyway, here is something to know about Brynley. She hates baths! I think it's because at the hospital the dumb nurse bathed her in freezing cold water! My mom felt the water because Brynley screamed SO loud. I felt so bad for her! Here are some pictures of what we experience at bath time...

Thinking about whats going on

Getting irritated with me...

SO mad!

Happy to be out!

She's slowly beginning to like them a little better. Now when I put her in the water she grabs my hand and gets a look on her face like she's unsure, but she doesn't throw a fit until the very end.

The 9 Month Journey

After nine months of hormones, cravings, heartburn, maternity clothes, mood swings, hot flashes and of course a growing belly

We welcome our beautiful angel

Brynley Lynn Campbell
Born Thursday July 9, 2009
Weighing 7 lbs 2 oz
21 inches long

The story:

Last Thursday night I woke up at 1:30am and had to use the restroom. While in there, gush, my water breaks! Half awake and confused I go into the bedroom and wake Zac up letting him know that I thought my water broke. So after a couple minutes we were both fully awake, we grabbed our bag and we made our way to the hospital. I was admitted at 2:30am and I was only dialated to 1cm so we held off the epidural. The contractions weren't too unbearable. By 4:00am I asked for the drugs...by this point the contractions were bringing me to tears! By 4:45am I was as numb as ever and just enjoying the early morning! My doctor came in to see me at 7:00am and he predicted that Brynley would join us around dinner time. By 8:00am I was dialated to 3cm. Then they checked again at 10:00am and I was up to 7cm. My nurse said we would most likely have her around lunch time. They checked me again at 12:00pm, I was at 10cm. Yay! I started to push at 12:20pm and after a short 40 minutes of pushing, Brynley was born at 1:02pm! She was so beautiful! What an amazing experience everything was! It's incredible that this sweet baby was inside of me all of these months. She truly is perfect! The labor and delivery went extremely well for me. Can I just say how wonderful epidurals are? I can't imagine giving birth without one. I didn't feel a thing the entire time and the pushing was a breeze for me. We were all shocked at how quickly everything went. Brynley has been so much fun for me and Zac. She makes us laugh all of the time and already has such a fun personality! She is definitely worth the sleepless nights and many more to come! We love her so much and are so thankful that everything went well and that she is healthy, we thank our Heavenly Father every night for our angel. She is amazing and we are so happy to have her in our little family! Here are some random pictures of our little girl:
