Grandpa Mack had his birthday on the 27th so I called him that morning to wish him a Happy Birthday! We were having a family party for him the next day, so for his gift he said he wants some CD's, the round one's he says. So I went to the store and bought him a Johnny Cash Classic cd. The next day we all met at my cousin Shannon's house for the party and it was so much fun! We had tons of food. French dip, queso (thanks to Mom and the family recipe), salsa, chips, pasta salad, potato salad, brownies, pudding, and of course birthday cake! After everyone grubbed, we all made our way to the deck and sang happy birthday to Gramps then he began to open presents. Turns out he told everyone, "I want some cd's for my car. You know, the round one's." So he ended up getting SO many cd's! Haha! Amazingly he only got two of the same singers. He got Johnny Cash, Waylin Jennings, Dean Martin, and a couple others that I've never heard of. He also got a John Wayne dvd that contains 20 of his classic movies! It was a great party, and so good to see my extended family! We never see eachother except for holidays, so it was fun to be with them!
