Happy Birthday to Me!

My birthday was last Thursday and in our family some of us like to take advantage of our birthday week. Which means we get to celebrate our birthday all week! It's funny how when you get older birthdays aren't as exciting as they used to be when you'd have all your friends over for pin the tale on the donkey and heavy heavy hang over. But I was lucky and had another awesome birthday this year! Here is how it all went:
Tuesday night I came home from work and Zac had surprised me with cleaning our entire apartment spotless! (Leave it to me to make it look messy with my coat and purse)
It looked SO good! And even better he made me dinner! He had the table all set and he had bought me some roses and another bouquet of wild flowers.


The dinner was so delicious! He always tells me he doesn't know how to cook (I know it's just to get out of making dinner) but he messed that lie up by making me steak, shrimp, rice and asparagus! It was so good! He also got a liter of coke! Which was probably the best surprise because I've had to cut back, being pregnant and all, so I was SO happy to get coke that night! After dinner we had rice crispy treats for dessert and watched our tvo'd shows for the night. What a great birthday present! Zac always knows how to make me happy, he's my best friend in the world and the best husband a girl could ask for! I love you pumpkin!!!

Then on Wednesday night my mom and sisters took me out for another birthday dinner to one of my favorite restaurants, Olive Garden! The food is always great and the presents they got me were even better! My first maternity clothes! Yay! Short story, a couple weeks ago Lindsay and I were bored so we went to Target to just shop around and we checked out their maternity clothes and they weren't very cute at all. So I was a little bummed that maybe looking for cute prego clothes would be harder than I thought, until I got my presents! Thanks you guys for finding me adorable clothes, I love you guys so much! (Note for you other preggers out there looking for clothes, Motherhood Maternity is the place to go) These are all the cute clothes I got! Maternity shorts by the way are SO comfortable! It's like your wearing sweats!

 

After the first two nights my birthday was off to a great start! Then came Thursday and the Campbell's took me to yet another birthday dinner! If you can't tell I really like food...and they all know this so well! They took me to...

It was amazing! They have the best cheesy biscuits and our waiter was awesome which is always nice! The Campbells let me open my present last month when Jake opened his birthday presents (Jake was so nice to share) and I got an iHome! Thanks Sherry and Gordy we love it!!

Then as my birthday continued into Friday night a bunch of us got together and we ate at Rock Creek Pizza! We had a big crew that consisted of us, Brant, Lindsay, Afs, Tyler (who is now dead to me until I get a happy birthday text), Kelli, Kyle, Jake, Scotty, Robbie, and Gideon! Then we made our way to the Campbell's and the boys watched the Jazz while the girls half played cranium! Brant and Lindsay got me two bags of some of my favorite candies, conversation hearts, and they were so yummy!

Well one bag was anyway :) You guys are awesome friends! We'd be big losers if we didn't have you! Then we watched Gran Torino...which was pretty good. I don't think I'd watch it a second time. But then again, it was like 11pm when we started it, which is when we are usually in bed falling asleep, so I think we were all a little tired and may have had a bad judgment because of that! After the movie ended around 2 everyone left and then Jake got home and we talked with him for an hour and we didn't get home and in bed til 3:30am! That is the latest we've been out since we've been married! Haha we are so wild I know!
So when Saturday came around I slept in til 12 and Zac left at 10:30 to play football, so it was nice to be able to sleep in! When he got back we went to Barbacoa for lunch and then we went pant shopping it was fun! Then that night we played the wii and that put an end to my birthday week! Which was good timing since Gordy's birthday is today and he started his birthday week yesterday! Thanks everyone for making my birthday a good one this year!!!
