A night at the Jazz game and the upper bowl

Last week I got a call from Afs asking if we wanted to go to the jazz game that night...Jazz vs. Celtics...heck ya we were there! She was able to get 8 tickets so it was me, Zac, Afs, Ty and Jake brought Robbie, Scotty, and Gideon.



It was so much fun! I have been wanting to go to a Jazz game lately, I just love the atmosphere of it all! The music, lights, people (preferably the sober ones) and of course the food! I was really there for a hot dog, nacho's and a drink for $12...I had a hard time bringing myself to spend that much on a measly hot dog and snacks, but it was worth it!


Anyway the game was really good and intense! We were sitting 2 rows behind some Boston fans who were drinking like crazy, and to our right were a bunch of Jazz fans that were drinking like crazy. They were fine in the beginning and I knew as the game wore on and they got more drinks in them they would get worse. Turned out the Boston fans in front of us were really cool and we had a lot of fun bantering back and forth with them (well I should say Zac and the boys bantered), and the Jazz fans to our right were extremely obnoxious with the worst mouths! There was a Boston family sitting in front of them who actually left at the 4th quarter because of how rude those guys were being. The F word was used every other word and I don't blame the family, who had 2 young girls with them, for leaving. I felt really bad that those guys ruined their night though! Anyway, as the game went on the two groups clashed and garbage got thrown at a Boston girl who then went to get security to kick the drunk Jazz fans out. Of course this was all going on within the last 20 seconds of the game and it was hard to choose which to watch...the game or these idiots trying to resist getting the boot. Finally they left with some words and we were able to see the last 4 seconds play out. What a great game that was!! Tickets in the upperbowl are always a gamble and it's the luck of the draw with the group you'll be sitting by! But hey for $10 bucks to enjoy a night out with my hubby and family/friends it was well worth it! It was nice to do something different on the weekend and we had an awesome time! Thanks Afs!

The drunk Jazz fans were upset that we were getting a long so well with the drunk Boston fans and so they said few words to us and Zac being so protective and doesn't let people talk to us like that (which I secretly love and is SO attractive to me) Anyway back to the story, he got up in their face and they got into a HUGE fight falling over chairs and into people. One of the guys was even sent to the hospital......haha just kidding! Part of it is true though, they did say some things to us and Zac had some more things to say back to them but it ended there. I always try to calm Zac down, I don't even know if he hears me half the time. Those guys were so annoying the whole game and I'm glad they got kicked out! Anyway the real story involves Jake (as shown in the picture) but he hit Zac with his truck not his fist. Only 2 minutes before we left for the game, who knows why they do the things they do, but Zac was in the bed of Jake's truck trying to get something Jake took from him. So Jake stepped on the gas. Then hit the brakes. Zac slammed into the back of the window. It looks worse than it was. I thought he had sliced his eyebrow open and blood was dripping down but it was more like a really bad rug burn. Boys are so crazy! I grew up with 2 sisters, we never did anything like that! I have been brought into family of 2 boys and all of their friends who rough house every chance they get..I've always heard stories but seeing them first hand is very different and I can't help but laugh! I guess this will prepare me if we ever have boys!
