Well crib hunting has been quite a headache for us. I found the one that I wanted at Babies-R-Us and of course it was on back order. A few weeks had gone by and no call from the store and I was getting so frustrated! I finally started to give up and not worry since for the first couple of months she'd be in the bassinett that we got from my mom and sisters, which is PERFECT by the way! But I still want to get the nursery set up and looking cute! Especially because we got SO many cute things from showers! (which is a post in the making) Anyway, I don't know how we got so lucky, but Zac's Aunt Erin and Uncle Skip mentioned that they still had their crib and all of the pieces. So...we went to look at it and we loved it! It is exactly what we want in a crib and we even like it better than the one we were looking at. They let us take it and we were so excited to put it all together! There were a few of the nicknacks missing so we made our way to Home Depot and of course they had what we needed! So we went home and got started.
My hubby is the greatest! He was more excited than I was!
Me! I tried to help but didn't do so much after I tried to screw something in and stripped it...oopsy :)
Our adorable bedding I can't wait to set up! Thanks mom!
Finishing pieces...
TaDa!
Now all we need is the mattress and we are set! As for the hiccups part. Our sweet baby girl has been getting the hiccups very frequently lately! A few days ago I kept feeling her move, more like a flinch, every 5-10 seconds or so. It felt like a pulse and it was making me nervous because I had no idea what it could be! Then my smart friend Kelli suggested the hiccups! I think it's SO cute!! She gets them twice a day. Once in the morning and once at night. Who knew babies still in the belly could get the hiccups? I love it! I also had my doctors appointment today and I had to do the Strep B, whatever it's called, test today. Now begins the once a week appointments until the big day! They also checked to see if I was dialated at all. The results....a big fat ZERO! No dialtaioin. Maybe next time!

The crib is so cute! I can't wait to see everything put together. If it makes you feel any better I had my doctors appointment and I am still at a big fat Zero too!! Lets both hope for something more next week. :)
Like I said, you can't have her until we get home from Cayman... but I guess if you start to get extremely uncomfortable, you can go ahead. Your shower was fun by the way!
Oh I'm so excited for you! This is the hardest part, well it was for me at least! It went by so slow because I wanted him here so bad! And Jaxon would get hiccups twice a day when he was in my belly too!!! And guess what - he still gets them twice a day if not more now that he is out! It is so cute but kind of sad. I hate it when I get hiccups so I feel bad for him - but he doesn't seem to care. You will have to let me know if your cute girl still gets hiccups once you have her. GOOD LUCK! I can't wait to hear when you have her!
